The Platform of European Social NGOs (Social Platform)
SocialPlatform is the largest civil society alliance fighting for social justice and participatory democracy in Europe. Consisting of 42 pan-European networks of NGOs, Social Platform campaigns to ensure that EU policies are developed in partnership with the people they affect, respecting fundamental rights, promoting solidarity and improving lives.

Social Platform Objectives
  • Strengthening the NGO sector: Social Platform strives to support the development of a strong and vibrant social NGO sector.
  • Reinforcing Participatory democracy: Social Platform seeks to strengthen participatory democracy by supporting a process of dialogue between NGOs and a more transparent European Union.
  • Shaping Social Europe: Social Platform campaigns to promote a strong social Europe.
