IASSW

The International Association of Schools of Social Work, IASSW, is the worldwide association of schools of social work, other tertiary level social work educational programmes, and social work educators. The IASSW promotes the development of social work education throughout the world, develops standards to enhance quality of social work education, encourages international exchange, provides forums for sharing social work research and scholarship, and promotes human rights and social development through policy and advocacy activities. IASSW holds consultative status with the United Nations and participates as an NGO in UN activities in Geneva, Vienna and New York. Through its work at the UN and with other international organizations, IASSW represents social work education at the international level.

The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) ist the US-American Association of Social Workers. It is the largest membership organization of professional social workers in the world, with 150,000 members. NASW works to enhance the professional growth and development of its members, to create and maintain professional standards, and to advance sound social policies.

The website has lots of contents, regarding many aspects of social workers' interests. Take a look.

The Asian and Pacific Association for Social Work Education (APASWE), an affiliate of the International Association of Schools of Social Work, is a non-profit and non-sectarian organization for schools of social work in the Asia-Pacific region. With a membership exceeding 200 (mostly drawn from educational institutions), APASWE promotes academic and professional standards of social work education and facilitates inter-school cooperation and collaboration in the region.

China Association of Social Work is authorized and registered by the organization of Registration of Public Organizations, and also function under the administration of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China. It is the only one authority organizations which delegated by all the expert social groups and workers in China.
