Inspired by a lately very popular
research study of a master-student of the Oldenburg university, Germany, that states, that teachers connect prejudices with first names of their pupils, I wonder if there are more of these studies (in other countries?) and if there are studies regarding this topic in social work research.
Take into account that, eg the British Association of Social Workers requires in their
Code of ethics that every client must get
"equal treatment without prejudice or discrimination"
Is this realistic, is this possible? Sure, this should be the idealistic goal, but everyone has prejudices. It is IMHO impossible to not have prejudices (this is, eg, a prejudice).
What does everyone think or know about this?
